Tour De France 2014 in Yorkshire

The Corn Mill Tearoom is in the village of Bainbridge within Wensleydale in North Yorkshire. The village is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The first stage of the world's greatest and most famous road cycling race, the Tour De France passed directly through our village on Saturday 5th July 2014.

 

On the village green in Bainbridge there was be a large screen to view the race from start to finish.

 

We had busy time planning the catering for the Tour De France, Stage 1 day on Saturday 5th July 2014. Opening hours were increased and facilities extended.
